By the mid 1980’s my mother, Joan Lois Adams nee Callcott, had begun to undertake research into our family history, including of our First Fleeter ancestry.

From 1996, she was joined by my husband David Christian, following the passing of his father John Godfrey Jack Bill Christian. David also discovered that he was a First Fleeter descendant. Between David and Mum, they uncovered more information than I could have ever imagined.

And then in late 2012, following Mum’s passing, and after I had retired, I began to create a suite of Family History websites on WordPress, as shown in the table below. And in 2017, David and I undertook DNA testing, which enabled us to break down brick walls and identify our respective paternal American ancestral lines.
